Salt Arts first show for 2019 was sponsored by Chapter 2 – Khaadi on Wednesday, 30th January 2019. Singer and songwriter, Zoe Viccaji returned to Salt Arts after 3 long years with a power-packed performance followed by artists such as Ajay Wilson, Shane Kerr, Joshua Keyth Benjamin and Abid Wilson.

The show was a great success with record breaking attendance including celebrities and music enthusiasts. The concept of Salt Arts is to revive love for live music performances in Pakistan which has been welcomed by audiences with open arms.
This year the Salt Arts team is led by women thus leading to the concept ‘#futureisfemale’. The Salt Arts team, who have onboard Chapter 2 as “art enablers” and strong season partners, notes that this year their ethos, like every year, is on two things that will remain a part of the overall design: a) be more eco-friendly and b) collaborating with women musicians, artists, designers, writers and photographers to create a more gender-balanced creative community.
About Chapter 2:
Chapter 2 celebrates indigenous craft and transforms it into urban fashion. Comprising of pure handwoven and handcrafted textiles, this brand embodies a minimalist approach towards design through high contrast, progression of colour and composition. The brand aims to inspire personal confidence by introducing clean, straight and androgynous silhouettes to make the Chapter 2 woman feel comfortable in her own skin; it is a reflection of artistic expression that transcends age. It evokes a persona which does not associate itself in moving with the herd, but creating an individual look on one’s own. It is for people who have the understanding of complexity in a simple design and appreciate the craftsmanship of the fabric.
